³⁹ Therefore^[a] look, here I am, and I will surely lift you up and forsake you and the city that I gave to you and to your ancestors^[b] from my presence^[c], ⁴⁰ and I will bring upon you an everlasting disgrace^[d] and an everlasting shame^[e] that will not be forgotten.”
